Ames High girls golf qualified for their first team appearance in the state tournament since 2010. Sophomore Little Cyclone Emersen Motl, who carded an 80, was runner-up medalist. The Little Cyclones will compete May 25 and May 26 for a state championship at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny.
