About Boys Swimming
Led by head coach Joe Fisher, the Little Cyclone boys swimming team placed third a year ago at the 2023 IHSAA Swimming Championships in Iowa City. The quartet of Evan Feilmeyer-Joshua Chen-Ian McCorkle-Tristan Day opened the finals with a victory and school record time of 1:33.24 in the 200 Medley Relay before Chen added another gold later in the breaststroke. It was the best team finish for Ames since winning the 2018 title.
