Five Little Cyclones selected to Iowa Shrine Bowl cheer roster

Five Ames High cheerleaders were named to the 2024 Iowa Shrine Bowl Cheer roster.

Anna Carlat, Ellie Chieves, Blaeton Busano, Ana Gabrielson, and Sylvie McConnell earned placements on the prestigious roster that will perform at the annual all-star event set for July 20th at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. The event supports the Iowa Shriners’ mission and funds raised are distributed to the Shriners’ Children orthopedic hospitals and burn centers in the Midwest and to each Shrine Center’s Transportation fund to transport patients to and from hospitals and clinics.

All five student-athletes are making their first appearance on the Shrine Bowl roster.
