D’Niaya Settles signs to Saint Michael’s College in Vermont

Ames High volleyball player D’Niaya Settles signed Wednesday to continue her academic and athletic career at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.

Settles was a three-year varsity player, lettering in her junior and senior season to compliment Iowa Alliance All-Conference honors in both seasons. Settles played all 95 sets of Ames’ 2023 campaign, leading the team’s offense with 263 kills to help lead the Little Cyclones to the program’s first winning season since 2013 with a 19-16 overall record.

Saint Michael’s College is an NCAA Division II school and a member of the 12-team Northeast 10 Conference.
