Boys swim collects IAC team title

Posted January 20, 2024

Boys swimming took care of business on Saturday to earn the program’s second Iowa Alliance Conference team title in as many years.

The Little Cyclones collected titles in 10 of 11 events to run away with the lead in the team standings, earning 437 team points and nearly doubling second-place Des Moines Roosevelt’s 221. Evan Feilmeyer and Josh Fisher both recorded a perfect day at the pool: earning gold in both relay and both individual events competed in.

The Little Cyclones will begin to taper for the IHSAA postseason, which starts with the district meet on Saturday, February 3rd at Dan Flannery Pool.
