Athletic Training
Ames High Athletics, in partnership with McFarland Clinic, has two dedicated full-time certified athletic trainers on staff to help guide student-athletes in injury prevention and assist students that have suffered a sport-related injury recover to full strength.

The Athletic Training Room is located at Room 0751 in the athletics wing court-level locker room hallway. Daily school-year weekday hours for student-athletes to visit for injury prevention and treatment needs are approximately 2:30 PM-5:30 PM daily or as practices and home game schedules warrant – hours subject to change. Summer hours are approximately 8:00 AM-12:00 PM on weekdays.
