About Dance Marathon
Dance Marathon is a group that meets and works all year to raise money for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. We create and run fundraising events throughout the year, find donors and sponsors, and hold a school-wide dance/celebration in the spring. We also hope to be involved in community service, recycling efforts, and opportunities for collaboration with other clubs and groups at Ames High. This is typically a larger club with a sizable leadership team. Meetings vary from weekly to monthly depending on your role in the club, and we meet before and/or after school.
